Who could play a good Joker in a new Batman movie?
Up until a few weeks ago I would’ve said no one and to just cut the character from any new movies altogether, but there was an original intention of keeping the Joker alive and using him in a similar context as Hannibal Lector in Silence of The Lambs. After watching Dexter, I pointed out the idea of having Michael C Hall pick up the part and quite a few people said that if the studio would go through with another and include the joker, this would their best bet. What are your thoughts and suggestions?

Ooo…I like that idea of Michael C. Hall from Dexter. And his frown/smile lines on his face would make him look perfect!
I was going to say why not Jack Nicholson again? Christian Slater used to do a good impression of Jack…that’d be interesting if it was him!

Well, for personal reasons I’d pick Doug Jones from FEAR.net’s "Fear Itself" series…but that would only work for a different director, because it’s an even darker, scarier, bloodthirstier Joker based on comic books & graphic novels like "Arkham Asylum:A Serious House on Serious Earth" & "Batman RIP." I could also see Johnny Depp doing that particular Joker Style because of Sweeny Todd.

As for the Nolanverse Joker…well, you need a guy who can do a good Heath impression, in both face & voice. Otherwise the viewers will bitch about it.

I read the comics, so I’d really prefur someone who actually looked like the Joker to play the part.
